Lautaro Martinez is said to cost 111m euros (£95.6m) according to the reports.
Manchester United will look to bolster their squad in January as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be targeting the Premier League top four.
But it does not seem like Lautaro Martinez would willing to move in January move due to champions league football.
Manchester United have failed to replace Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, after both players joined Inter Milan last summer.
Though Alexis Sanchez is currently on loan at the Serie A side while Lukaku joined Inter from United in a deal worth about £74m.
If United came calling, Lukaku and Sanchez could influence Lautaro Martinez's decision as they are all teammates now.
Will they support Lautaro's transfer to United or be against it?
Inter Milan are preparing to face Bologna on Saturday in Serie A and Lautaro would hope he can continue his fine run.
Antonio Conte's side are currently second on the log, one point behind defending champions Juventus.
