AFCON 2019: Otedola, Dangote promise Super Eagles N27m for each goal

Billionaire duo, Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote have promised the Super Eagles of Nigeria $75,000 for each goal they score in their remaining games at the ongoing 2019 African cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

Nigeria beat South Africa 2-1 on Wednesday, July 10 to qualify for the semi-finals of 2019 AFCON.

The squad received a huge boost the next day after the victory as Dangote and Otedola made a pledge.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick made this known while addressing the team at the Le Meridien Cairo Airport hotel on Thursday, July 11.

While Otedola promised the sum of $25,000 (N7m), Dangote promised $50,000 (N18m) for every goal the Eagles score in their remaining two matches of AFCON 2019.
