Official: Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio joins Wolves
Premier League club Wolves announced the signing of Portugal international goalkeeper Rui Patricio.The 30-year-old Portuguese, who is currently with the National team at the World Cup signed a four-year contract with the newly promoted side.
Rui Patricio is Wolves's second new signing of the summer after Raul Jimenez joined the newly promoted side on loan from Benfica last week.
Patricio terminated his contract with Sporting at the end of last season in the wake of an attack by some the club's supporters after they did not qualify for next season Champions League.
The Portuguese club have opened legal proceedings against Patricio and six other players.
Rui Patricio is Portugal's first choice goalkeeper at the World cup.
