Fans react after Man Utd frustrates Liverpool with a 0-0 draw at Anfield [Tweets]
It was a case of dejavu as Manchester United parked the bus again at Anfield to earn a 0-0 draw, this is the 4th draw in a row between both sides.
Jose Mourinho played the same tactics as last season and got the same result, the Manchester club played on the back foot and were not ready to commit men into attacking position despite playing a Klopp side that is out of form.
Klopp's men created 16 chances while United created just 2 chances, the red devils did not create a single chance in the second half and had just one shot on target in the whole game.
xG map for Liverpool - Man United. The usual narrative after a Mourinho team takes an away draw is, "Jose done it again." This was not that. pic.twitter.com/iAPHjkKUXH— Caley Graphics (@Caley_graphics) October 14, 2017
There are people calling that a "Mourinho masterclass". United were abysmal. Bailed out by exceptional goalkeeping and wasteful finishing.— Joel Rabinowitz (@joel_archie) October 14, 2017
Jose Mourinho couldn't give a shiny shite if you didn't like how United set up there. And he's won this league more than most.— Jon Birchall (@jonbir90) October 14, 2017
Awaiting Mourinho. It was after this game last season that he came back into the press conference room to dispute Opta's possession stats.— Tom Williams (@tomwfootball) October 14, 2017
Mourinho is a fucking moron. Played Defensive af against a Liverpool team that had no Mane. No logic. Even lvg wouldve won that game.— CHAMPIONS🏆 (@HaIaRonaldo) October 14, 2017
Even for Mourinho that was a pathetic attempt to win the game. Played for a draw from the kick off. Feel sorry for fans who paid to watch that shite.— True Geordie (@TrueGeordieTG) October 14, 2017
Yes, Mourinho came to Anfield for a draw or to potentially nick it. A horrible game to watch, but this is necessary in order to win titles.— Liam Canning (@LiamPaulCanning) October 14, 2017
Desperately dispiriting performance from United. Entitled to ask Mourinho: Is that all you've got? I mean, really? Is that it?— Oliver Holt (@OllieHolt22) October 14, 2017
