Ten man PSG dump Lille [Match report] by @Komptrolla

PSG won an opening day fixture for the first time in five seasons after Brazilian prodigy Lucas Moura finished off a sleek PSG move just twelve minutes after the restart, the 1:0 win was flattering on the part of Lille who didn't offer much against the champions.

PSG had young midfielder Adrian Rabiot sent off for his second bookable offense six minutes after receiving his first caution, playing with ten men didn't affect the capital club in any form as they strolled to a comfortable win away from home.

In what was supposed to be a difficult fixture without talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic and new signing Angel Di Maria, Laurent Blanc's men started off with loads of attacking intents but really didn't create any goal scoring chances, at the other end, Lille muscled out a chance but Sehirou Guirassy's shot was well blocked by Thiago Silva, Edison Cavani tumbled in the box after having his attempt saved by Nigerian shot stopper Vincent Enyeama but the minimal contact from Benjamin Pavard wasn't enough to earn a penalty call.

A rampaging move that involved Lucas Moura, Blaise Matuidi and Edison Cavani saw the talented Brazilian race through on goal after a through ball from Matuidi, Moura rounded the on rushing Lille goalkeeper and slotted home what proved the winner, Cavani almost doubled the advantage but for a braze block by Pavard.

Angel Di Maria will be available for selection when PSG plays at home next weekend but Ibrahimovic (Knee) will take weeks to join the three time champions.
