Revealed: The real reason Pedro is moving to Chelsea over Manchester United

It is a "Pedro" day in the English and Spanish newspaper as the face of the Spanish winger is splashed in front pages as he is close to completing his move from Barcelona to Chelsea.

Hijacking the Spanish international from Manchester United was like a movie, a well planned operation by the London club masterminded by Director Marina Granovskaia, the right hand woman of Roman Abramovich, Jose Mourinho, Cesc Fabregas and his girlfriend Daniella Semaan.

Manchester United exectuive vice-chairman Ed Woodard travelled to Spain on Monday to try to complete a deal for Pedro, meanwhile Marina Granovskaia was already in discreet negotiations with Barcelona officials and the Chelsea officials were granted permission to speak to the winger.

Jose Mourinho and Cesc Fabregas spoke to Pedro directly convincing him to move to Stamford bridge, while Cesc's girl friend Daniella Semaan called up Pedro's wife, Carolina Martin, to speak to her about moving to London.

Fabregas is good friends with Pedro from their time together at Barcelona and the Spanish national team, while Semaan also knows Martin well.

Between them, Mourinho, Granovskaia, Fabregas and Semaan managed to clinch a deal with Barca and convince Pedro to forget about United and agree to move to Stamford Bridge.

All these moves made the decision easy for Pedro, some reports suggest that Pedro called up Victor Valdez concerning moving to Old Trafford and we all know what that will result to.

The Pedro deal is expected to be completed today as he already passed his medical yesterday.
