Sergio Ramos extends Real Madrid contract till 2020 | Bad news for Man Utd fans
According to a report in Spanish media outlet Marca, Sergio Ramos decided to extend his contract with Real Madrid till 2020 which will be officially announced before the new La Liga season gets underway on 23rd August.
The Spain international defender is a transfer target for Manchester united and it was looking like he will be on his way out of the Bernabeu after a rumoured rift with some top officials at Real Madrid.
The two parties appeared to be going their separate ways, but the defender held face-to-face meetings, firstly with José Ángel Sánchez and then with Florentino Pérez whilst on tour in China, and these brought their positions closer together until they met the player's demands.
This will be a bad news for all Manchester United fans as they seem to be optimistic the World Cup winning defender will move to Old Trafford.
