Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczesny to join Roma on loan next season
Italian Serie A side AS Roma have agreed a deal with Arsenal to take Wojciech Szczesny on loan next season with the option of buying the goalkeeper permanently next summer for €5m (£3.5m).
The two clubs had been in negotiations for several days before they agreed terms on the 12-month deal with Roma understood to be paying around €1m to have the 25-year old in their squad for next season.
Earlier today Arsene Wenger spoke about the 25-year old goalkeeper, He said "He will have a future here because I rate him highly. He already has huge experience."
Szczesny arrived at Arsenal in 2006 and made his first-team debut three years later, in a Carling Cup game against West Bromwich Albion.
