#GLONPFL Round-up: Away win, Cheer leaders and more [Pictures]

In the only match on Saturday June 27th , Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan played a 1-1 draw away at Taraba FC.

On Sunday, Akwa united FC played their first game against Warri Wolves FC at the new ‘Nest Of Champions’ stadium in Uyo in front of an estimated 5,000 fans .

There were also cheerleaders to cheer the home team but their support was not enough as the Akwa United FC came from behind to force a 1-1 draw after Super Eagles striker Gbolahan Salami gave Warri Wolves the lead.

Dolphin FC snatched a 2-2 draw away at Kano Pillars, while Wikki Tourist stunned Ifeanyi Ubah FC with a rare 0-1 away win.

Wikki Tourist moved to the top of the league on 27 points, Sunshine Stars of Akure dropped to 2nd on 26 points, while Enyimba FC moved to the 3rd position also on 26 points.
