Gbolahan Salami rejects move to join Egyptian clubside
According to Emeka Nwani, Super Eagles and Warri Wolves striker, Gbolahan Salami has rejected a move to join ENPI in the Egyptian League.
Salami revealed that he decided not to join the club because they have not complied with what he wants from the deal.
“What we agreed was that they will have to pay me all my money so that we don’t start another war when I sign and they have not paid.
“So I told them they should pay me the money in full since they must not owe me.
“My manager and club, Warri Wolves agreed with me and up till now, we are still waiting for them to come and finish the negotiations.
“I don’t want the ugly situation that happened when I went to Serbia to happen again.
“I have to be careful this time around,”Salami said.
He scored the first goal for the Super Eagles in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad in Kaduna.
Nice one Gbolahan. Once beaten, twice shy...
