Official! Ivan Rakitic to join FC Barcelona on a 5-year deal

Barcelona and Sevilla have reached an agreement for the transfer of Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic to join the Catalan club.

Rakitic is currently in Brazil with his  national team and played full 90 minutes in their first game which they lost 3-1 to Brazil.

FC Barcelona statement:

FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ivan Rakitic. Ivan Rakitic will sign a contract with FC Barcelona for the next five seasons. Both clubs have also agreed for Denis Suárez to be loaned to the Andalusian club for the next two seasons.
