Luis Suarez signs new long-term Liverpool contract [Video Interview]
Luis Suarez has signed a new four-year deal with Liverpool.
The 26 year old striker original deal was set to expire in 2016, will earn £160,000 until the end of this season and then £200,000 per week over the final four years of the contract.
The new deal has made Suarez the highest paid Liverpool player of all time and he is now earning almost the same as players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
Despite trying to force a transfer during last summer transfer window, Brendan Rodgers have been able to keep his main man, making him happy and getting him to sign a new contract.
Much credit should be given to Rodgers.
Liverpool fans must be excited with this news...
