It's another weekend, another opportunity for us to look at what is going on in the transfer window. Clubs are fulfilling their requirements, and players are hoping to tidy things up quickly.

Manchester City has hijacked Arsenal's deal for Leicester City's Jeremy Monga. The Gunners had been in talks with the youngster's camp but failed to wrap it up. The Cityzens will pay up to £10m for Monga. Leicester will hope to reinvest the money in the squad that has been relegated to the third tier of English football.

What is Tottenham building? Roberto De Zerbi is creating an impressive strategy for the midfield. Spurs on Thursday agreed on a fee with Newcastle for Sandro Tonali in the region of £100m. The midfield is now looking strong with Rodrigo, Sandro, Tonali, and Mattheus Fernandes, who joined earlier in the week.

Tottenham has also confirmed that Joao Palhinha will not continue at the club, despite being one of those players who helped the club to survive the drop last season. Palhinha scored important goals at the tail end of the season, but he is expected to return to Bayern Munich.

Word on the street is that Julian Naggelsmann will not continue as the head coach of the German national team. The former Bayern Munich manager is expected to step down after Germany's underwhelming World Cup campaign.

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is believed to be the man to replace Nagelsmann if he steps down. Klopp currently holds a position as global director of sport for Red Bull, but the German tactician is open to an opportunity to lead the national team.

Chelsea's Trevor Chalobah could be the next player to arrive at Inter Milan. Como had been in the race for the England defender for a while, but Inter Milan has gone ahead of Como and is expected to wrap up the deal in the coming days. We keep an eye on this one, too.

Cristiano Ronaldo has said he won't comment on his future yet, but his sister has confirmed that the Portuguese star will retire from the national team after the World Cup. Ronaldo helped Portugal to the round of 16 with his first-ever knockout goal in the competition against Croatia on Thursday night.
