Chelsea's season has gone from bad to worse under Liam Rosenior. The latest home loss to a depleted Manchester United means the Blues are now the least favorite for the fifth spot that guarantees Champions League football next season.

United had first-choice defenders suspended for the game at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea failed to find a breakthrough as the visitors ran out 1-0 winners courtesy of a Matheus Cunha strike. Is there hope for Chelsea as the season winds down?

Brighton is in a good place. The Seagulls came back twice to earn a valuable point against Tottenham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It was a result that keeps Brighton's hopes of returning to Europe alive.

It was good to see Roberto Di Zerbi again, but the visitors took no prisoners. Kaoru Mitoma and Georgino Rutter both found the back of the net to send Spurs deep into the relegation waters. Brighton is now in a good position to finish in European places.

With only one point separating Chelsea from Brighton, the Seagulls will move into 6th spot if they beat their visitors on Tuesday. This is a huge incentive to motivate Fabian Hurzelar's side. Is this the beginning of the end for Liam Rosenior?

Chelsea remains the favorite for this game, despite it being an away game. The Blues have slumped into four straight losses with only one win in seven games. This game is too important for Chelsea to lose.

Brighton isn't under any pressure. All they have to do is keep up the good work and take their chances when they get them. Chelsea's defense isn't the strongest right now. Brighton will enjoy going toe-to-toe with whoever Rosenior picks in the back four.

How will Chelsea approach this? Cole Palmer was lively against United, but the Blues failed to benefit from his runs. Pedro Neto was ineffective, and the early injury to Estevao didn't help much. We expect Alejandro Garnacho to start this one.

With Joao Pedro uncertain due to the injury he picked up in the warm-up against United, Liam Delap could return up front. The midfield is certain to be a mix of Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, and Andre Santos.

For Brighton, we expect more of the same from the team that earned a point at Spurs. Mitoma will come in, while Yakubu Minteh is expected to fly on the other flank. This is a game Chelsea must not lose, but it's a game Brighton will feel great about.

Verdict: Both teams to score.
