Everton has the chance to turn things around at the Hill Dickinson Stadium when Manchester United visits on Monday, following their 2-1 home loss to Bournemouth last time out.

Andoni Iraola's side came from behind to beat Everton away from home, with Jake O'Brien receiving his marching orders, ruling out the Irishman from the visit of Manchester United on Monday.

Manchester United dropped points for the first time under Michael Carrick in their last game away at West Ham. A late Benjamin Sesko strike leveled matters and helped the Red Devils to maintain their unbeaten run under their interim manager.

Chelsea failed to beat Burnley at Stamford Bridge, while Aston Villa also dropped points at home to Leeds United. A win for United at Everton takes the Red Devils within just three points of Aston Villa in third spot on the log.

Everton has ambitions too. The Toffees could go within five points of Manchester United if they find a chink in the Red Devils' armor on Monday. It will be a huge opportunity for them to springboard from there as we approach the run-in.

In the reverse fixture, Idrissa Gana Gueye and Michael Keane got into a bizarre fight, which got the Senegalese sent off; ten-man Everton went on to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford with a sensational strike from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Jack Grealish is the only notable absentee for Everton in this fixture, with Jarrod Branthwaite returning to full fitness at the right time. Nathan Patterson and Mykolenko are expected to take the fullback positions on Monday night.

Ilman Ndiaye is one player United must be wary of. The Senegalese AFCON winner has only scored one goal since returning from Morocco, but his trickery and pace can hurt Manchester United.

The visitors have a rich list of players who can turn things around in any game. It didn't quite work well at the London Stadium; however, they can try again at Everton. They will expect a low block, which troubled them against the Hammers; they must find a way.

Bruno Fernandes will be at the heart of things. The Portuguese has created more chances than anyone else in the league this season. Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have benefited from Bruno's mercurial services.

Manchester United cannot afford to drop points here if they want to capitalize on surrounding teams dropping points. Everton won't make it easy. For the Red Devils, we're in for a treat on Monday.

Verdict: United to win.
