Nottingham Forest has announced the sacking of head coach Sean Dyche after back-to-back failures to win relegation six-pointers.

Forest lost to fellow strugglers West Ham at the weekend, then followed it up with a boring goalless draw against bottom club Wolves. Evangelos Marinakis isn't having it anymore, and, for the third time this season, he has triggered the sack.

Forest is now only three points above West Ham in the race to avoid the drop. A substantive manager is expected to be announced ahead of their next fixture, which is an FA Cup game this weekend.
