It's the weekend again. There are points to be won and titles to be fought for. Arsenal continues to battle on; with a six-point cushion at the top, it's another opportunity for Manchester City and Aston Villa to try to close the gap.

As always, we ask questions ahead of the weekend, from the scrap down below to the battle to make Europe, and then the big one at the top. What better way is there to start than the opening fixture of the weekend? Here you go!

Leeds United will host Nottingham Forest on Friday night; this is a huge fixture—a classic relegation six-pointer. A win for either side is technically a message of safety and comfort. They both want to stay in the league; this makes it a game to watch.

Leeds and Forest are like Siamese twins. Level on points and on goal difference, they sit above West Ham with a six-point cushion; the Hammers are away to Burnley, and you sense a win there for them, which means there would only be three points between whoever loses this one and the Hammers; who would that be?

Let's talk about the form team of the Premier League. Three wins on the bounce and hosting Tottenham, arguably the most inconsistent team in Europe—is Manchester United about to win four games in a row for the first time in years?

Remember their famous fan who needs to have a haircut? Standing in his way and a trip to the barber shop are the two London clubs United plays next. Tottenham on Saturday and West Ham after that. Is there a chance Spurs can halt the run of Michael Carrick?

Sunderland scored a last-gasp leveler the last time the Gunners faced the Black Cats; both meet at the Emirates on Saturday, and you have a sense of Arsenal's thirst. Arsenal wants to win the title; can they beat Sunderland to strengthen their case?

We won't index much on that; we move straight to Chelsea. The Blues lost to Arsenal in the second leg of the Carabao Cup. Liam Rosenior has lost just twice since signing as the Blues' boss, and both losses have been against Arsenal.

Wolves will be relegated. It is no doubt the worst-kept secret in England, but there are going to be spoilers at certain points. Chelsea needs to recover from the midweek loss. Will Chelsea drop points against Wolves? Will Rosenior leave things late again?

Finally, the biggest one of the weekend. By the time the Citizens kick off at Liverpool, they might be nine points off the pace at the top. Pep Guardiola knows there's no coming back from that. Does this make this the fixture of the season?
