The transfer window is where the buzz is, with clubs trying to get deals over the line. What news interests us this morning?

Lookman hands in a transfer request.

Nigerian winger and reigning African Footballer of the Year Ademola Lookman has handed in a transfer request and is now hoping Atalanta sorts out his contract.

Inter Milan submitted a €45m offer for the Nigerian, but Atalanta is holding out for more. With Lookman feeling maltreated at the club, he has made it clear that he wants to leave, and nothing can stop him from getting his wish.

Chelsea to swap players for Simons?

Tyrick George could be a make-weight to facilitate the Xavi Simmons move for Chelsea, as RB Leipzig has asked for the youngster during negotiations.

Raheem Sterling is another player who must look for a new club in the coming weeks, as Chelsea doesn't have him in their new season plans, while Nicolas Jackson is also seeking solutions elsewhere after Chelsea signed Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

Heung Min Son to sign for LAFC

MLS side LAFC has reached a total agreement with Tottenham for the signing of captain Heung Min Son, who announced recently that he's leaving the club.

The South Korean said goodbye to teammates on Saturday after a friendly with Newcastle United and is now on his way to sign his contract with the MLS side. LAFC will pay Spurs €15m for the South Korean icon.

Al Hilal is leading the race for Nunez.

Darwin Nunez is now closer to a move to Saudi side Al Hilal than anywhere else, with Simeone Inzaghi personally reaching out to the Uruguayan to lure him to the club.

Al Hilal has presented their project to Nunez, and Liverpool doesn't mind letting him go if Al Hilal submits a bid worth £50m. Liverpool still wants to sign Alexander Isak, and the exit of Nunez could aid that desire.

Besiktas set to sign Ndidi

Nigerian midfield star Wilfred Ndidi is set to join Turkish side Besiktas after Leicester City received a bid of £7m for the Nigerian.

Ndidi has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave the club if the club relegates and a good offer arrives; both conditions have been met, and the Nigerian is interested in the move, this should happen soon.
