Were you online last night? It was a major meltdown for fans of Tottenham Hotspur and ecstasy for fans of their North London rivals Arsenal. Do you know why? Find out why and more on the juicy transfer news updates.

Arsenal hijacks Ebere Eze deal from Spurs.

Arsenal has successfully hijacked Tottenham’s Ebere Eze deal after having a £60m bid accepted by Crystal Palace late on Wednesday.

Tottenham was believed to have wrapped up the Eze deal following James Maddison’s injury, but after Kai Havertz was rumoured to be out on long-term, Arsenal moved for Eze, and the latter, being an Arsenal fan, opted for the Gunners.

AC Milan gets Boniface.

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has agreed to a move from Bayer Leverkusen to AC Milan, and he’s on his way to having his medical ahead of completing the move.

Erik ten Hag’s Leverkusen is being torn apart with key players leaving. You wonder if the former United man is the problem or if he’s the one sending the players out to accommodate the ones he wants. However, why would Boniface choose Italy despite Ademola Lookman’s experience?

Palace eye El Khannous and Dibling.

For what Ebere Eze represents for the Eagles, you expect them to reinvest the money gotten from Arsenal into the squad, and Leicester City’s Bilal El Kahnnous is expected to join Palace.

Southampton have lowered their expectations for Tyler Dibling, but they still insist on in excess of £45m for their flying winger, and it would mean something promising if the Hammers can bring in Dibling and the Leicester man to cushion the effect of Eze leaving.

Manuel Akanji and Ederson set for Gala moves

The duo of Manchester City’s Ederson and Manuel Akanji have both agreed to moves to Turkish outfit Galatasaray and are expected to complete the moves this weekend.

Pep Guardiola left the two out of Manchester City’s win over Wolves last weekend and still won’t involve them this weekend; that’s an indication that something is going on behind the scenes. Expect a big announcement soon.

Hojlund's camp insists on a loan deal.

Rasmus Hojlund doesn’t want to leave Manchester United and would only be open to a loan with no buy option, as he still sees his future at Old Trafford.

The Dane was left out of Manchester United’s home loss to Arsenal last weekend and could well miss out again this weekend as the Red Devils favour Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko upfront. How will the Hojlund conundrum end?
