Arsenal finally got the breakthrough they craved in Viktor Gyokeres and United has told four players to find another club; what else is happening in the transfer window?

Ten Hag battles to keep Xhaka.

Former Arsenal midfield general Granit Xhaka has insisted on leaving Bayer Leverkusen this summer, but new manager Erik ten Hag doesn't want to entertain any bid.

While the club has opened negotiations with Sunderland, Ten Hag feels the club has lost three key players already (Jonathan Tah, Florian Wirtz, and Jer Frimpong); however, a fee of €20m would see the former Arsenal man back in the Premier League with Sunderland.

Chelsea to sign Xavi Simons?

Chelsea's model is clear to all to see: sign young talents and sell for big money, and as it continues to yield results on the pitch too, who can fault them?

Xavi Simmons wants out of RB Leipzig and could be sold for a fee around €60m. Leipzig wants Chelsea's Carney Chukwuemeka; a swap plus cash deal could happen soon, but Arsenal is also interested in the Dutchman. Watch this one.

Gyokeres to Arsenal finally over the line

The entire social media landscape was rocked on Tuesday as Arsenal finally reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon for Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres.

After a series of back and forth, which included the player forfeiting part of his entitlements to see the deal happen, Arsenal finally got the breakthrough with a fee of €63.5 plus €10m in realistic add-ons, but to be paid over five years.

Brighton sells Estupinian to AC Milan.

AC Milan has agreed to a fee of €19m, including add-ons, for Ecuadorian left-back Pervis Estupinian, who will join on a four-year deal from Brighton.

After Lucas Hernandez left for Saudi Arabia, it became imperative for the Italian side to enter the market for his replacement, and the Brighton man has now booked medical ahead of the switch from the Amex.

United leaves quartet out of pre-season tour.

Manchester United has made it clear to the quartet of Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrel Malacia that they're not in Ruben Amorim's plans next season.

The four have been left out of the club's pre-season tour to the United States, and the four are now actively looking for new clubs, with Chelsea eyeing Garnacho and Sancho speaking to Italian clubs. Antony is expected to return to Betis.
