Lots of deals are crossing the line across different leagues as clubs try to bolster their squads ahead of the preseason. What deals interest us at this time? Here you go!

Manchester United goes hard for Mbeumo.

Despite talks of Tottenham entering the race for Cameroonian international Bryan Mbeumo, Manchester United has submitted a bid reported to be over £60m for the Brentford forward.

After a stellar performance for the Bees last season, Mbeumo has become a subject of transfer speculation, and following Thomas Frank’s move to Tottenham, rumours emerge that Spurs could hijack the deal. Now it’s on the player to make a decision if Brentford accepts the offer.

Forest set to raid Juventus for duo

Nottingham Forest needs a big squad for next season after qualifying for Europe for the first time in over three decades; this has gotten them busy in the transfer window.

Igor Jesus is impressive in the ongoing Club World Cup; the Brazilian will join after the tournament, but Forest is also attempting to add the duo of Samuel Mbangula and Timothy Weah to their ranks. This would be good to see considering how many clubs are circling Morgan Gibbs-White.

Kerkez joins Liverpool from Bournemouth.

Arguably the worst-kept secret in the transfer window, as Liverpool can finally confirm that Serbian left back Milos Kerkez has joined the club permanently from Bournemouth.

With Andy Robertson asking for a move and Kostas Tsimikas failing to nail the left-back position, Liverpool had to enter the market, and they have gotten one of the best in the market for a fee of £40m, including performance bonuses.

Arsenal set to abandon Sesko over wage demand

After waiting all along to seal the deal for the Slovenian, Arsenal is now on the verge of moving on from Benjamin Sesko, with reports suggesting a difference in wage demands and offers.

Arsenal is lining up Viktor Gyokeres as the viable option who could be cheaper and equally effective. Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is another name on the Gunners’ wish list, but that one could linger until the tail end of the transfer window.

Al Hilal confident of landing Theo Hernandez

Former Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has personally spoken to French left back Theo Hernandez, promising him his full backing if he switches from AC Milan to the Saudi club.

Al Hilal is actively in the market for top European talents, and Theo Hernandez is one of them, as he brings a wealth of experience as well as leadership, having captained AC Milan for two seasons. We’ll keep an eye on this one.
