The first installment of the transfer window closes on Tuesday, 10th June, with the Club World Cup on the way. Here are some buzzing headlines in the transfer world.

Italy fires Spalletti after embarrassing loss

The Italian Football Federation has announced that it has parted ways with its head coach, Juliano Spalletti, after their shameful 3-0 loss to Norway.

The reign of Spaletti as the Italian boss has been tumultuous to say the least, with the squad suffering from identity and a clear playing style. Word on the street is that Claudio Ranieri is the likely replacement. Is everything okay in Italy?

Thomas Frank to replace Big Ange

Brentford has given Tottenham the green light to speak to their manager, Thomas Frank and he is now in line to replace Ange Postecoglou.

Despite winning a European trophy, Daniel Levy couldn't stand their 17th position in the league and will now hope he finds justification for hiring Frank who doesn't have strong story in terms of league finishes or trophies.

Manchester United now the favorite to sign Gyorkeres

Manchester United could be lining up with a front three of Mattheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Viktor Gyokeres if what we're hearing is true.

The Red Devils won't be in Europe next season but they're preparing for a great season with firepower in their attack and they're willing to spend as much as £65m for the signing of Gyorkeres but, why aren't top teams going for the Swede?

City signs Ait-Nouri

Manchester City has confirmed the signing of Algerian full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves and you wonder if they're building a new squad entirely.

With Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki already in the midfield to shore things up in the midfield in absence of Kevin De Bruyne, they're casually building a new team and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Saudi clubs eye Sesko

Amidst Arsenal interest and increased negotiations, Saudi clubs have shown interest in Benjamin Sesko and things remain open for now.

It is left to be seen if the Slovenian wants to leave Europe at 22 but, but Leipzig would be interested in the bidding war, which could raise his valuation; it's another reason for the Arsenal fan base to go to war.
