Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has dropped hints of a possible exit from Old Trafford after expressing his disappointment for being dropped for the derby win over City on Sunday.

Manager Ruben Amorim dropped the England forward and Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho for the trip to the Etihad, citing "the performance in training, the performance in the game, the way you dress, the way you eat, and the way you engage with teammates" as key factors.

Manchester United beat their City rivals 2-1 with two late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo, but Marcos Rashford's form has seen him lose his place in the starting eleven, and his rumored attitude in training is now seeing him completely out of the squad.

Managers frequently axe Rashford; Erik Ten Hag removed the forward from his matchday squad for missing team meetings and trainings, and he also dropped Rashford from the FA Cup trip to Newport after filming him on a night out in Belfast last season.

Despite the manager's assurances of a fresh start for the two players, Rashford has hinted at his potential departure from the club, marking nine years since his 18-year-old debut.

"For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps," Rashford told reporters during an event at a school in Manchester. "When I leave, there's going to be 'no hard feelings.' You're not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That's me as a person.

"If I know that a situation is already bad, I won't make it worse." I've witnessed the departure of other players in the past, and I don't want to be that person.

"When I leave, I'll make a statement, and it will be from me. While it's disheartening to miss out on a Derby, we've already won the game, so let's move on.

"It's disappointing, but as I've gotten older, I've also learned to deal with setbacks." What steps will I take to address this situation? Sit there and cry about it. Alternatively, I can try my best the next time I'm free. "I do feel misunderstood, but I'm fine with it," he said. "I'm a very simple person. I love football. That's been my life from the beginning.

"I'm halfway through my career. I don't anticipate reaching my peak at this point in my career. I have spent nine years in the Premier League, which has taught me a lot and helped me grow both as a player and as a person. So I don't have any regrets from the last nine years.

"I will not harbor any regrets in the future, as I approach life day by day, experiencing both positive and negative events. I just try to keep a fine balance." I have my own dreams. I've achieved parts of it. However, I have not yet reached my desired destination. However, the challenge lies in the fact that once you reach your destination, you end up creating something new.

"It's a cycle that never stops. There's not really an end point."
