During Chelsea's match against Everton, Manchester United will attempt a feat they haven't achieved under Ruben Amorim: winning consecutive league games.

It’s looking promising for the Red Devils under the Portuguese; the style of play is evident even though he’s struggling to piece things together with the available resources. It’s upward and forward from here if they do allow him a little patience.

Bournemouth is in a favourable place despite some tough games they’ve had to play. They laboured to a 1-1 draw at home to the Hammers on Monday, and it’s a testament to their prowess to concede so late and still find enough energy to claw things back.

Three straight wins before the stalemate at home means the Cherries are currently in 8th, and a win over the Red Devils at Old Trafford takes them straight to fifth, above Manchester City and Aston Villa; that’s a sensational incentive.

Despite defeating Manchester City last weekend, United remains in 13th place on the standings. However, a victory at home against Bournemouth could propel them to 25 points, potentially reversing their position against their opponents on Sunday, providing significant motivation.

Andre Onana sat out the cup game loss in midweek; he should return to the starting eleven, as his deputy, Altay Bayindir, performed poorly in the game. Apart from conceding straight from a corner kick, his composure and game management proved why Onana must return.

The Marcus Rashford situation will continue to raise questions; the manager insists the England forward won’t feature until he feels the player is remorseful. Are they both waiting for the window to open in a few days? That would be interesting.

Marcus Tavernier is absent for the Cherries, and so is Luis Sinisterra, with both expected to be back before the end of the year; Milos Kerkez is a subject of transfer away from the club. Can Andoni Iraiola hold on to his famous left back?

Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee are both fighting for a spot upfront for Amorim; it’s a fierce battle with the manager chopping and shoving until he finds the perfect balance; however, Bruno Fernandes and Amad Traore are certain starters after their recent heroics. This one should be enjoyable to watch.

Verdict: Both teams will score.
