Last weekend, Arsenal faltered against Fulham, settling for a 1-1 draw, but the Gunners would later regret their luck as Bukayo Saka's late goal, ruled out for offside, came down to a matter of inches.

Everton was in a great mood last weekend, hoping to sign off from Goodison Park in the Merseyside derby with a win as they’re leaving the iconic stadium this season, but a disturbing wind stopped that from happening; now they face the Gunners having rested for two weeks.

Arsenal beat Monaco to strengthen their top-eight finish in the Champions League group phase. The emphatic win means Arsenal needs to just match the results of the teams below them to qualify for the round of 16 without having to play two playoff games next year.

Despite accusations of over-reliance on set pieces, the Gunners scored three goals through open play, with Bukayo Saka leading the way with two goals and providing an assist for the third, which would have been his goal regardless.

Everton beat Wolves 4-0 the last time they played; they will hope the momentum is still around when they face the Gunners at the Emirates on Saturday. They rarely achieve a positive outcome against Arsenal at the Emirates, but they are hoping to make a difference this time.

The Toffees aim to climb as high as possible and avoid any relegation conversation. They are currently five points clear of the relegation zone, despite having played one less game. They would welcome the opportunity to strengthen their position against Arsenal.

Arsenal defender Gabriel might be available for this game, but Ricardo Calafiori won't be fit enough for it, as the Italian is the only regular who will miss out if Gabriel plays. This means Mikel Arteta can use his preferred center back pairings on Saturday.

Despite Yousef Chermiti being back in full training, Sean Dyche confirmed at his presser that Armando Broja and Tom Keane are both fit to face Arsenal. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the line, but expect Beto to have a say at some points.

Arsenal will rotate a bit, with the EFL Cup in midweek; Arteta could give the likes of Sterling and Ethan Nwaneri some game time, but the usual suspects will pull the strings again. Martin Ødegaard and Saka are in their full elements now; can Everton avoid defeat?

Verdict: Arsenal is to win.
