It’s a big game at Tottenham Hotspur’s magnificent stadium. The hosts have big issues, and they must find a way round it; they cannot afford to lose to the Blues on Sunday.

Tottenham is portraying themselves as the champions of the Premier League, defeating prominent teams such as Manchester United and Manchester City with scores of 3-0 and 4-0, respectively. However, their subsequent losses to mid-table and relegation zone sides are quite unexpected.

Chelsea’s season is moving better than anyone would have imagined. They started the weekend ranked second on the log and could maintain their position even without a win; they only need to match Arsenal's result.

A comprehensive 5-1 win over Southampton explains a lot about where the latter are on the table, but it also adds credence to Chelsea’s ruthlessness in most games they have played this season. Despite being away, Chelsea will be the favorite to win.

It was a chaotic affair for Spurs last season when Chelsea visited. Ange Postecoglou's team was dominating the league with impressive results, but their performance at home against Chelsea was marred by indiscipline and bad luck, as they lost Christian Romero and Destiny Udogie to red cards, leading to a humiliating 4-1 loss.

The midfield partnership of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandes is up there among the best this season, and they will be there to show Spurs why they’re so good again. The athleticism in the Chelsea midfield is enviable; they will make Tottenham sweat.

Postecogou's team is adept at stirring up controversy, particularly when facing a formidable opponent. Chelsea must be cautious of the speed of the Tottenham team; they will aim to be swift and direct, resulting in a fast-paced game.

The only two players Enzo Maresca can confirm won't play on Sunday are Reece James and Wesley Fofana. However, Tottenham received the unfortunate news that Ben Davies has joined the injured list, and Romero's status for the Chelsea match is uncertain.

Manchester United and Newcastle’s losses mean Tottenham can go up as high as 7th, above Brentford, if they beat Chelsea, but the incentive of Chelsea cementing their second spot and moving clear of Manchester City, who dropped points again on Saturday at Crystal Palace, is there.

Verdict: Chelsea is to win.
