Is Chelsea guilty of any crime and could go under transfer ban sometime soon? Is there a reason Todd Boehly is buying every football player in sight with reckless abandon? Well, let’s look at some buzzing feeds from the transfer window.

Chelsea acquires Pedro Neto from Wolves.

Chelsea snapped up Wolves winger Pedro Neto on Friday after brief negotiations with the West Midland club, with the Portuguese going for a staggering €60 million and signing permanently for six years.

The Blues continue to sign players, and you wonder if there’s anything going on behind the scenes. You must also imagine how interesting it is for Enzo Maresca, who must find a way to work with too many tools in his workshop.

Dominic Solanke signs for Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth have both signed all papers for the transaction involving Dominic Solanke, who has left the Cherries to join Ange Postecoglou’s side for a fee of £65 million, including some realistic add-ons.

The striker will join the likes of Heung Min Son, Timo Werner, and Richarlison upfront for Spurs as they hope to mount a challenge in the new season. This transfer creates a domino effect, putting strikers on Bournemouth's wish list.

West Ham hijacks Juventus’ Todibo deal.

While Juventus was penny-pinching on Jean Claire Todibo, West Ham has stepped in and should announce the signing of the defender this weekend.

The Hammers gave Kurt Zouma permission to leave for Saudi Arabia, meaning they must replace him considering how important he is for them. With Juventus struggling to agree a fee for Todibo, the Hammers swooped in and hijacked the deal; Todibo will join West Ham and not Juventus. Big coup!

David De Gea signs with Fiorentina.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has agreed to a move to Italian Serie A side Fiorentina, and he has signed a two-year deal with the club.

De Gea spent the whole of last season without a club after leaving Manchester United at the end of his contract last June. He snubbed offers from Saudi Arabia to join the Italian side, believing he still had it in him to deliver at the highest level.

Issa Hayatou leaves earth for the great beyond.

Not your regular transfer news, but former CAF president Issa Hayatou has passed away at the age of 72 after a brief illness.

The former football powerhouse passed away in the early hours of Friday, as announced by his family, and has since been buried according to Islamic rights. His time as the CAF boss saw great achievements for the Cameroonian national team, including four AFCON championships.
