Arsenal set to sign Mikel Merino

Arsenal is on the verge of agreeing on terms with Real Sociedad for Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino, who had an impressive Euro 2024 despite coming off the bench in most games.

The Gunners have submitted a €30 million offer for the midfielder, which was believed to be sufficient to land their man because it meets the player's valuation by Soceidad. Expect Merino to join the Gunners in the coming days ahead of the Emirates Cup.

After ESR capture, Fulham seeks to add McTominay.

Marco Silva’s Fulham is cooking something interesting with various additions in different positions after submitting a £20 million bid for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.

The Lilywhites are expected to announce the signing of Arsenal playmaker Emile Smith Rowe this weekend, and while they expect the Red Devils to reject the offer for the Scottish midfielder, there’s confidence within the Fulham camp that a deal will be done soon.

Dovbyk joins AS Roma from Girona.

As expected, Girona striker Artem Dovbyk has signed a contract to become a Roma player under Daniel De Rossi's management.

The striker turned down an offer from Atletico Madrid to join the Italian side after a successful season with Girona last term, where his goals and assists led them to their first ever Champions League qualification. The Ukrainian addition sparked talk of a potential exit for Tammy Abraham.

Carlos Soler will replace Merino at Sociedad.

With Mikel Merino set to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Real Sociedad is on the verge of signing PSG midfielder Carlos Soler, who has fallen down the pecking order at the French capital.

Soler is seen as a direct replacement for Arsenal-bound Merino, and, with personal terms already agreed, PSG will not have a problem agreeing to fees as they also want to free up space for the arrival of Joao Neves from Benfica.

West Ham set sights on Fullkrug

After booking medicals for Crysencio Summerville, West Ham is now preparing final documents to bring in German international Niklas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund.

The Hammers have already agreed personal terms with the striker who shone brightly at the Euro Championship and also led the line for BVB as they made it to the Champions League final. Expect this one to happen quickly.
