Manchester United's Champions League woes continue, Arsenal settle for draw in dead rubber match.

The season went from bad to worse for Manchester United after another home loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, under the light at Old Trafford.

How do you explain United’s shameful fourth-placed finish in a group that had FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray; no disrespect to the Danish and Turkish champions but, Manchester United should be competing favorably against these two.

The players Erik Ten Hag signed have failed to turn up for him. Andre Onana has shipped the most goals of any goalkeeper in the competition, but Mason Mount has failed to come to the party in any game he has played this season, it’s tough to see how they will turn the corner.

United finished fourth, throwing them completely out of Europe. Galatasaray lost at Copenhagen, sending them to third and the Europa League. Manchester United will now face the Premier League top-four race as well as the FA Cup which begins next month.

"We didn't make it, we have to accept and learn from it," Dutchman Ten Hag told TNT Sports. "We made mistakes. Today the performance was very good. We didn't deserve to lose but we lost the game. "In the end, it's not good enough."

Arsenal settled for a 1-1 draw with PSV in Eindhoven on Tuesday night. It was a dead rubber game as the Gunners already qualified as group winners and the Dutch side already confirmed their place in the Round of 16 as the group’s runner-up.

Eddy Nketiah blasted home with seconds remaining in the first half but the Gunners surrendered the lead early in the second half. Arsenal fans expected to see a number of youngsters in the game but the manager insisted it wasn’t the right time.
