As we dive deep into the transfer window, we look at some top deals, brewing rumors, and potential transfers from all around the world of football.

Al Nassr to get City’s Laporte?

Manchester City has reportedly accepted a bid from Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr for Aymeric Laporte, and the French defender could well be on his way to Saudi Arabia. Arsenal was interested in the treble-winner, but the champions won’t dare consider selling their talent to their strongest opponent. Laporte is seen as being surplus to requirements after the arrival of Josko Gvardiol.

Yassine Bounou to sign for Al Hilal

Despite Bayern Munich’s interest, Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou is on his way to join Neymar at Al Hilal for a reported €21  The Moroccan shot-stopper had a stellar World Cup campaign and also helped the Spanish side to their record Europa League triumph. Bounou will join Al Hilal in the coming days after agreeing terms with the Saudi club.

Maguire to West Ham is off

Former Manchester United captain Harry Maguire will no longer move to West Ham after the proposed transfer fell through. The Red Devils want to see the back of their England defender, who has clearly fallen off the pecking order completely, but he wants to fight for his place in the squad, and only God knows how United fans feel about that.

Arsenal’s Tavares to join Nottingham Forest

Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest continues to build with the potential arrival of Arsenal’s Portuguese defender Nuno Tavares. The 22-year-old left-back spent the entirety of last season on loan at Olympic Marseille and is clearly not in Mikel Arteta’s plan; Arsenal is open to selling Tavares, and Forest might be his new home.

Chelsea is set to complete Olise’s signing

After the official announcement of Moises Caicedo and the imminent arrival of Romeo Lavia, Chelsea could well announce the signing of Michael Olise from Crystal Palace. The winger has had his release clause of £35 million triggered by Chelsea and will be the latest addition to a growing list at Stamford Bridge under Mauricio Pochettino.
