Manchester United has set its sights on Chelsea's Mason Mount, according to a series of recent tweets from various sports news outlets.
The 24-year-old England international has reportedly agreed to personal terms with United, although negotiations between the clubs have not been finalised.
Renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has tweeted about the ongoing discussions, mentioning that there's a significant difference in the valuation of the player between the two clubs.

According to Romano, Chelsea's asking price for Mount stands at a hefty €80 million.
Despite the gap, he assured that the deal has not been ruled out, although it's not imminent at this stage.
Sky Sports News echoed Romano's assertions, indicating that Manchester United is expected to formally approach Chelsea about signing Mason Mount.

The versatile midfielder, who played an integral role in Chelsea's success under Thomas Tuchel, appears open to the move.
According to reports, internal discussions are ongoing at Manchester United about tabling a formal offer for the player.
Further complicating the potential move is the issue of Mount's salary.
It has been reported that the player has been offered a six-year deal similar to the one Reece James signed with Chelsea in September.
However, the salary is not comparable.
This may prove to be a stumbling block in the negotiations between the player and Manchester United.
