The Hammers need just one win to be comfortable, away from the murky relegation waters and also with a semifinal duel in the Europa League.

West Ham will go into this game at home with less pressure; a win will take the Hammers up to twelfth on the log, just two points behind Chelsea in eleventh and still with a game in hand.

It's safe to say that when they name Premier League clubs next season, West Ham will be among them.

Liverpool can start dreaming of at least a Europa League finish.

Champions League qualification looks increasingly unlikely considering the form of surrounding teams and the fact that Newcastle and Manchester United aren’t looking like losing grounds.

The Kops are currently seventh on the log, could be sixth above Tottenham with a win at the London Stadium, and still have a game in hand.

Liverpool can take advantage of Spurs’ dip to seal a top-six spot and then springboard from there in case either Newcastle or Manchester United slip up.

What does West Ham have to lose here? Momentum!

You don’t want to lose the current run and then stand the risk of taking a weak form into their semifinal clash in the Conference League.

The hammers must ensure they keep the fire burning.

It’s the same for Liverpool.

It’s been an indifferent season for the Kops, but they can finish strongly with the run-in underway.

There’s all to play for, especially with a slight chance of breaking into the top four; it’s up to the Kops now.

The return to fitness and form of Diogo Jota means Liverpool’s headaches remain in terms of selection.

Luis Diaz is back, and there’s Darwin Nunez, who is also begging for playing time.

The midfield will be crucial as well, but how will Jurgen Klopp approach the Hammers?

Michail Antonio is huge for West Ham, as is Jarrod Bowen.

There’s a special mention for Lucas Paqueta following his fine form, and while David Moyes will be eyeing fitness ahead of the European game, sustaining the momentum will be key as well.

Verdict: Straight win for Liverpool
