Juventus: Paul Pogba returns in big Turin derby win

Juventus saw the lights of Paul Pogba for the first time since he joined the Turin side last summer following injuries and off-field issues.

Juventus rallied from an early setback to beat their city rivals Torino 4-2 on Tuesday night to continue their fight in the league, and with just ten points off Lazio in fourth, Champions League football is still possible for the Old Lady.

Yann Karamoh gave the visitors an early lead with just 92 seconds on the clock and most fans still settling into their respective seats, but Filip Kostic assisted Juan Cuadrado for the leveller after 16 minutes to continue his good run against Torino.

It was fast, furious, and wild towards the end of the first half.

Antonio Sanabria scored for the visitors and thought his team would head into the break with the lead, but former City defender Danilo headed home in stoppage time of the half to restore parity.

Gleison Bremer and Adrien Rabiot scored in the second half to hand Juventus an important win, but the arrival of Pogba will rejuvenate the team, and Max Allegri is excited as well.

"It had been a long time we wanted Pogba back with us and we are happy. With a game every three days, we need everyone available," Allegri said.

"It has to be said, 10 points is still a big gap. We'd need an average of two points per game and it would be extraordinary. We have caught Bologna [eighth place] and broken away from Torino. We should also say that we earned 50 points," Allegri told DAZN.
