Kyle Walker has stolen the headline with his confidence that he will stop Kyllian Mbappe and the duo of Bukayo Saka and Kalvin Phillips have agreed with him but in the true sense of it, can Walker stop Mbappe?

The PSG superstar has played down the hype but virtually everyone on the French side has come out to play up Mbappe as the man to lead them to back-to-back World Cup glory and they don’t see Walker or anyone at all in the England side that can stop him.

England has welcomed back Raheem Sterling after he was granted a break to attend to family issues while France continue to keep a compact squad that they believe will see them all the way to a successful title defense.

France will line up with the same eleven that beat Poland convincingly and again, Mbappe will be the man to watch out for. Antoine Griezmann is yet to light up the World Cup like he did four years ago, this could be the game where he proves his worth.

Harry Kane is the man to watch out for as well as Arsenal’s sleek winger Bukayo Saka; the game is poised to divide fans especially in the premier league with fans having sentiments across both sides; it’s a game the neutral will enjoy.
