Chelsea have announced the sacking of Thomas Tuchel after a shock loss to Dinamo Zagreb in their champions league opener in Zagreb on Tuesday.
Fans have been worried since the tail end of last season and the new season hasn’t offered much solace with the club struggling for identity despite only playing Tottenham as the only top six sides so far and already recorded two losses.
Chelsea don’t score lots of goals and that is because they don’t create chances. The signing of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang was supposed to help them solve goalscoring issues but you don’t win the lottery if you don’t buy the ticket, they don’t create enough!
In the win over Westham, it was clear as day that the Blues got away with murder; the VAR and referee got them a get-out-of-jail card and they must not expect such every game. You need to ask, where does the problem lie?
With Tuchel out of the way, where does Chelsea go from here? Who is the manager they’re looking at? Could they be attempting to lure in Zinedine Zidane? Will they go for Mauricio Pochettino? Graham Potter of Brighton?
