Manchester United are not fully ready for the new season in terms of reinforcements and have now turned to former Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech.

The Red Devils still don’t know if Cristiano Ronaldo will stay or leave with Erik Ten Hag talking tough on attitude and sense of responsibility.

Manchester United have brought in the trio of Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen but still haven’t solved their problems.

Will United rely on Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford upfront?

This is probably the season they will enjoy their investment in Jadon Sancho but where would all of them be if Cristiano Ronaldo chooses to stay?

Anthony Elanga is waiting on the wings and a few academy lads also want their respective chances.

The pursuit of Hakim Ziyech explains the fact that Ten Hag has lots of trusts in players he has worked with in the past and if that sees the light of the day, a 4-3-3 formation may see either of Martial and Rashford miss out.

Manchester United still want Frenkie De Jong but news coming from the Nou Camp is that Barcelona will offer the Dutch midfielder, alongside Memphis Depay and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to Chelsea as the Catalans try to register their new players.
