It’s that time of the season where everyone monitors breaking news and player movements, we bring to you the peak of the bunch as team try to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
Manchester United to sell Ronaldo?
There’s an unrest brewing at Old Trafford following Cristiano Ronaldo’s unapproved move from the stadium on Sunday after he was subbed off in the 1-1 preseason friendly against Spanish side Rayo Vallecano.
Eric Ten Hag has read out the riot act and he won’t condone such act, leaving speculations that the super star may indeed get a move away from the club following his request that he wants champions league football.
Atletico Madrid is a possibility and we’d wait to see what both clubs do.
Chelsea to sign Cucurella, De Jong?
It’s official that Chelsea has successfully hijacked the Marc Cucurella deal from Manchester City after the champions refused to meet the Seagulls’ £50m valuation of the former Eibar player but the Blues have agreed terms with both club and player and a deal is now at the final stages.
Chelsea could also be the final destination for long term Manchester United target Frenkie De Jong; Barcelona want to sign Bernardo Silva and would need the money from De Jong to pull it off. We can’t wait for how this would end.
PSG set to sign Sanches, wants Silva
PSG have beaten AC Milan to the signing of Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches and with a fee of £15m, PSG will announce the player’s signing which would shore up the imminent loss of Gini Wijnaldum who is on his way to AS Roma.
PSG also want to sign Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva but will they be willing to pay City’s asking price? The Cityzens want £70m for the player; Barcelona also wants the player but the debt profile of the Catalans will shift the balance in PSG’s favors.
United loan Telles to Sevilla
Manchester United have loaned out Alex Telles to Sevilla for a period of one year and the Old Trafford club will share his wages with the Spanish side.
Telles was always going to find first team football hard to come by following the signing of Feyernoord left back Malacia. The relationship between Manchester United and Sevilla is quite cordial and that must have played a part in landing the Portuguese.
Arsenal sell Leno to Fulham
The Gunners have sold Bernd Leno to Premiership new boys Fulham for a reported fee of £8m including add ons. The German has the World Cup in his sights and sitting on the Arsenal bench won’t help him.
Leno leaves Arsenal on a permanent basis after four seasons at the Emirates, he lost his place to Aaron Ramsdale after Manchester City destroyed the Gunners 5-0 last season and the English man has now been handed the number 1 shirt at the Emirates.
