The January transfer window is wide open and players are being rumored to be on the move, we bring you the peak of the bunch and we update as things happen.

Coutinho to Aston Villa?

Reputable news outlets are reporting that former Liverpool playmaker Phillippe Coutinho is open to a move away from Barcelona and we can confirm that Aston Villa are in pole position to land the Brazilian this January.

You already know who the plug is, Steven Gerrard will do all he can to add a high profile player of Coutinho’s caliber to the Villa ranks and we can’t but wait to see how this plays out.

Aaron Ramsey will leave Juventus this window

Juventus head coach Max Allegri has confirmed that former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will be allowed to leave the Italian side this window as he tries to trim the squad for a strong second half challenge after a difficult start to the league season.

Massimiliano Allegri on Aaron Ramsey:

“Ramsey, he returned today after we had given him a few days off to work, to train separately, in England.

"In any case, he’s an outgoing player. “

Spurs eye £50m rater Lamptey

Tariq Lamptey of Brighton is being touted to be on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur and the Seagulls have slapped a £50m bounty on the youngster they signed for just £3m just under three years ago.

We know about the English tax and if Ben White and Michael Keane went for same amount, then Lamptey is worth as much after his impressive start to life at the Amex stadium but what would Spurs do with Emerson Royale and Matt Doherty?

United want Ruben Neves

Would things have been different for Manchester United if they had signed a defensive midfielder instead of Cristiano Ronaldo?

It’s widely reported that the Old Trafford landlords desperately want to bring in Portuguese star Ruben Neves and are willing to pay Wolves’ asking price, the window is still very much young but we keep our fingers crossed on that.

Luiz Dias to Liverpool?

Sky Sport is reporting that Porto forward Luiz Dias is on the radar of Liverpool and they may well have agreed terms with the club.

Liverpool need to find alternatives to Firminho, Divock Origi has failed to do better than just super sub roles and Sadio Mane isn’t what he used to be, will they turn their attention to the player that caused them some troubles in the champions league group stage?
