Lots of things are happening in the football world, from transfers to covid crisis as well as shock results in the premier league… We look at a few

Is Liverpool in trouble?

Not many people saw Leicester’s win over Liverpool coming, the Foxes weathered the storm for the entirety of the game and took their chance when they got one, but does this put the Kops under the spotlight?

Liverpool will be without the trio of Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita to the Africa Cup of Nations, with covid raging in the premier league, that’s a high level of depletion for the former champions and one is wondering how they will cope when the trio exit for Cameroon.

Barcelona seal Ferran Torres deal

There’s so much talk of crisis at the Camp Nou but the Catalan giants have gone one step ahead to have a replacement for the departed Sergio Kun Aguero and where else would they have gone for that if not where Aguero came from?

Ferran Torres has joined Barcelona after failing to nail his spot at the City end and now he can find joy in his home land with a team he’s always wanted, another major reprieve for Barcelona after the challenges they have faced of late.

Were Spurs robbed at St. Mary’s?

Antonio Conte rued missed chances against Southampton on Tuesday in the premier league as two goals were cancelled and even the neutrals won’t understand how none of the two stood in Tottenham’s favor.

Fraser Forster bundled home but Matt Doherty was adjudged to have fouled the goal keeper while Harry Kane’s swift volley was ruled out for offside, it was tight but still hard to be seen how it was ruled against the North London side; Conte must have so much to ask at the post match conference.

Martial want out at Old Trafford

ESPN is reporting that the Red Devils have rejected a bid from Sevilla for Anthony Martial and with the Frenchman seeking an exit from Old Trafford, it’s hard to see why United won’t accept an offer since both parties are tired of each other.

United want Sevilla’s utility defender Jules Kounde, can they structure a deal that would involve the two parties? Sevilla will want something in the region of 80m for the defender, with Martial in the mix United can pay less, no brainer?
