Shakiri joins Lyon from Liverpool

Liverpool’s Swiss international Xerdan Shaqiri has joined Olympic Lyon of France for an undisclosed fee after an indifferent career at Anfield.

The Switzerland forward joined Liverpool from Stoke but found first team shirt hard to come by with Jurgen Klopp effectively sticking to the front three of Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firminho. Shaqiri joins Lyon on a permanent basis and will not really be missed by Liverpool.

 

PSG, United fight over Camavinga

Manchester United and PSG have both sent scouts to open negotiations with Rennes for France youngster Eduard Camavinga.

The impressive midfield sensation has just one year left on his Rennes contract and will not renew with the club, his ceiling is quite high and despite being in the last year of his Rennes contract, he will still command a sizable fee, hence the club have refused their evaluation to €35m

Manchester City have struggled to close a deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, and the fact he was sent on to the pitch in Spurs’ 1-0 win over Wolves on Sunday was a statement to City that they don’t want to sell, if Real Madrid can’t pay for the Frenchman, will City pounce?
