We’ll update the list from time to time as news emerge from leading transfer news outlets across the world of football

City table fresh contracts before Mahrez

Contrary to widespread reports that say otherwise, Manchester City are set to offer Riyad Mahrez a new contract after the winger played a starring role in the club's Premier League-winning campaign, according to the Daily Mail.

Mahrez has won two Premier League titles and an FA Cup since moving to the Etihad from Leicester. He also helped Pep Guardiola’s side reach the Champions League final last season where they lost 1-0 to Chelsea.

Hudson-Odoi for Coman?

Remember how it went down when Bayern Munich wanted to raid Chelsea for Callum Hudson-Odoi less than two years ago? Well they’re back for him and they don’t mind throwing in their flying Frenchman Kingsley Coman.

Chelsea really don’t have a need to sell or be pressured to, although a front-man is their priorities as they eye Erling Braut Haaland but reports emerging over the weekend say Chelsea may consider Robert Lewandowski but as at today, Bayern are considering using Coman as the bait for Hudson-Odoi.

Andy Carroll leaves Newcastle on a free

Steve Bruce has confirmed that Andy Carroll has been released by Newcastle.

Carroll was among the list of players released at the end of June but some reports suggested he would be kept on a one-year deal.

However, speaking after Newcastle lost 1-0 to York in pre-season, Bruce said: “I had a conversation with Andy. I think he wants to go and play.

“I wish the lad all the best. I hope it goes well for the rest of his career. He’s certainly been a big help to me in the last couple of years, that’s for sure.”

Brighton plotting moves on Ben White windfall

Brighton and Hove are about to spend their pending 50m Pounds expected to come in from Arsenal on a number of talents across Europe with Sky Sports reporting a €17m bid for Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite and Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.

Goal scoring was a big issue at Brighton last season as they had nothing worthy of note to show for their high presses and xG.

Either of the two will be a good fit for the Seagulls as they hope to have a season of comfort outside the drop zone.

United plan to keep Lingard

Manchester United are ready to keep Jesse Lingard after an amazing loan spell at Westham last season where he was a big hit.

The Hammers have made strong approach to have him back but United have come out to say the 28 year old is very much in their plans for the new season and he will not be allowed to leave.
