Chelsea table €100m bid for Juventus star Federico Chiesa but the Italian giants have reportedly rejected the offer and refuse to negotiate

Chelsea have submitted a €100m (£85m) bid for the transfer of Italy's Euro 2020 star Federico Chiesa from Juventus which has been rejected by the Italian giants

According to reports, the European Champions have contacted Juventus for the signing of the 23-year-old forward but the Italian giants are not interested in transfer discussions.

Following their Champions League victory, the Blues are hoping to add some new faces to their squad.

When Thomas Tuchel came in January, he had to work with the team that his predecessor, Frank Lampard, had put together.

Last summer, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich splashed the cash, but he's willing to back his manager in the market once more.

Chiesa has been touted as one of the attacking additions the west Londoners require for next season.

The 23-year-old, who made his name on loan at Turin last year, was a standout for the Azzurri at Euro 2020.

Chiesa made his way into Italy's starting XI after netting in the last 16 and semi-finals as he helped Italy to win Euro 2020 trophy.

Chelsea have made a sizable offer to lure the Italian club, but they have refused to even hold negotiations, according to Bild.
