We’ll update the list from time to time as news emerge from leading transfer news outlets across the world of football

Gareth Southgate to earn new England deal regardless of Euro results

Okay, we know how we talk big about stability and the need for teams to stay loyal to managers as firing them don’t doesn’t offer silver bullets to success, but how far can England go with Gareth Southgate as their head coach?

The English FA announced on Friday that the England head coach will be offered a new deal regardless of their result against Germany, a new deal that will run to the end of the next Euros will see fans watching double pivot on days they need daring creative moves… Funny right?

Kieran Tierney signs new long term deal at Arsenal

Gone are the days Arsenal stars run down their contracts and leave on a free with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Henrik Mhikitayrian and Mesut Ozil coming to mind but the club has announced that Scottish left back Kieran Tierney has signed a new long term deal.

Tierney joined from Celtic in the summer of 2019 but struggled with injuries, however he has always been a great addition to the team, his new five year deal is a great win for the team and that will also drive up his value.

Anthony Martial to be sacrificed at Manchester United?

If there’s any player at Old Trafford that has under performed the most, it has to be Anthony Martial and he can’t even complain, the weight of expectations surrounding his arrival and the instant impact he made as a substitute against Swansea on his debut set a standard he has failed to sustain.

Manchester United are seeking a rebuild, they have huffed and puffed since Sir Alex Ferguson left, they have gone on their longest run without a title, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is ready for a big summer and that looks like it will involve a move away for the underwhelming Frenchman.

Real eye Olmo?

Whatever it was that Luis Henrique was smoking to rate RB Leipzig winger Daniel Olmo enough to start him over regular players in Spain’s opening game of the Euro 2020 championship has yielded dividends for the young midfielder as Real Madrid are looking at him.

Olmo currently plays in Germany but Real Madrid are interested in him and could match the club’s evaluation of him and land him this summer if ESPN pundits are correct with their assertion.

Lucas Torreira nears Lazio switch

When Arsenal signed Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria, the hype around him was sensational and he hit the ground running almost immediately, drawing comparisons with N’golo Kante and was part of the team that failed in Baku against Chelsea.

He was on loan last season at Atletico Madrid, winning the La Liga  but he has no place in the Arsenal squad and will look elsewhere, we can report however that he is nearing a move away to Lazio and his agent has all but confirmed it.
