Transfer News: West Ham plots Jesse Lingard coup after impressive loan spell

West Ham player Jesse Lingard
West Ham are plotting a move to sign Jesse Lingard from Manchester United on a permanent deal.

We’ll continue to update you with the latest transfer news from leading and credible sources across the globe…

Lingard to West Ham?

How well do you trust Daily Star? It’s a bit of a no-brainer if you hear the Hammers are trying to sign in form playmaker, Jesse Lingard on a permanent basis but how easy that would be with Manchester United seeing how he’s turned things around is left to be seen.

Suddenly, a player that was deemed surplus to requirement is now being quoted for £30m and should West Ham win the race to sign him, they will have to fork out the sum.

Another day, another Erling Haaland story

Not exactly a transfer story but Super-Agent, according to Daily Mirror, Mino Raiola insists that Erling Braut Haaland will be the first professional footballer to be paid £1m/week after he leaves Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Make of that what you will but if that will materialize this summer then the likes of Manchester City and their City rivals will not be among his suitors and even Barcelona with their much-publicized debt profile won’t be in the conversation so PSG? Maybe but quite interesting to see what happens.

Harry Kane to leave Spurs

The Athletic reports that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has made up his mind to leave the North London side this summer if they don’t qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

No matter where your loyalty lies in football, it would be harsh for the highly effective striker to end his career without a trophy, while unknown but prevalent dynamics means he might not win with the 3Lions, which he can’t help because he can’t play for another country but he can by changing clubs, after all we all know Spurs won’t win anything…

Edison Cavani’s exhibition at Spurs yields dividends

If you saw Edison Cavani at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, then you can tell why clubs are suddenly looking in his directions.

Atletico Madrid might be faltering on their way to the LaLiga title but they might be the ones to land Cavani ahead of Boca Juniors…

Hang on… DiMarzio is reporting that Inter Milan, known for being interested in oldies are very much looking at him and that would certainly, shape up in the coming days…

Fried Rice for dancing Jesse?

Earlier we reported that West Ham are interested in making Jesse Lingard’s loan permanent right? Daily Mirror is saying that the Old Trafford outfit intends to throw Declan Rice into the conversation which would no doubt raise eyebrows.

Manchester United need a left-sided center back, Rice is double footed ticks the box, United need a younger cover for Matic who is nearing the end of his Old Trafford sojourn, Rice ticks the box, United need to improve their homegrown quota… Rice fits the bill
