Transfer bits…

Every day we update the transfer list as they emerge from reputable news outlets...

Raul Gonzalez in the race to replace Zinedine Zidane

Real Madrid are very much likely to show French man Zinedine Zidane the exit door if he doesn’t land a silverware at the end of the season; Telegraph is reporting that club legend Raul Gonzalez is in the running for the seat should Zidane leave.

Zidane returned to the helm after taking a break following a hat-trick of Champions League triumphs on the bounce but Atletico Madrid are the league leaders and the capital club must improve in the continental championship to stand a chance of having Zidane return next season.

Who can afford Jack Grealish?

Aston Villa has quoted a staggering £100m for Jack Grealish and that will put off suitors like Manchester City and their city neighbours Manchester United.

A central midfielder isn’t a priority at the Etihad but Pep Guardiola likes depth, although the sum quoted will deter the Citizens from launching a bid considering how big they need to spend to replace Sergio Aguero who announced his departure on Monday.

PSG in pole position to sign Sergio Aguero

Speaking of Sergio Aguero, his name wouldn’t go away this season until he signs for a club after leaving announcing his summer exit from Manchester City.

Barcelona might not be able to sign the Argentine considering the fact that he’s 32 and they would want a younger goal scorer and beyond that, Aguero doesn’t come cheap at a staggering £13m a year contract at City; this leaves PSG as the realistic destination for potent striker.

End of an era at AC Milan?

Ivorien Frank Kessie has rejected the latest offer from AC Milan and will leave the club this summer if the right offer emerges.

Estimated at £45m, the dynamic midfield enforcer insists the current offer is below his personal evaluation and all talks are on hold, this means the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan who have shown interest in Kessie over the past few months can now put their money where their mouth is.

West Ham eyes Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu

Leading Belgian tabloids are reporting that Genk striker, Paul Onuachu is on the wish list of West Ham following his rich vein of form for the Super Eagles striker including back to back goals in the just-concluded international window.

Onuachu has scored freely this season and has helped Genk to third on the French Championnat table and pushing for European football. West Ham sold Seb Haller to Ajax and are now short up front with Antonio struggling with fitness and Benrahma deployed on the flanks.
