Nigeria: 23 players in Super Eagles camp as Ndidi, Chukwueze, Osimhen arrive ahead of AFCON qualifier games against Benin and Lesotho

Twenty-three players have arrived at the Super Eagles camp at the Eko Hotels and Suites ahead of the AFCON qualifiers against the Squirrels of the Benin Republic and the Crocodiles of Lesotho.

Leicester city's Wilfred Ndidi, Villareal winger Chukwueze and Napoli forward Osimhen have arrived Nigeria's camp as the number of invited players for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Benin Republic and Lesotho to 23 on Tuesday night.

The three-time African champions held a gym session earlier today at the hotel as they continue preparations for the AFCON qualifier matches.

The team will fly to Cotonou on Friday before facing Michel Dussuyer's Benin at Porto-Novo's State Charles de Gaulle on Saturday.

Three days later, the Super Eagles will battle the Crocodiles in their last Group L match.

Nigeria need at least one win to guarantee their spot in Cameroon 2022 as they currently lead their group with eight points from four games.
