Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic clash in Milan Derby

Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic clash as Inter Milan beat AC Milan 2-1 in the Milan derby to qualify for the semi-final fo the Coppa Italia

Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic exchanged words as they clashed during Inter Milan 2-1 win over AC Milan in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku clash as Inter Milan knock out AC Milan to qualify for the semi-final of the Coppa Italia in a fiercely contested Milan Derby.

The former Manchester United team-mates were both booked following an altercation at the end of the first half, the clash continued into the tunnel during the break

Lukaku and Ibrahimovic could be seen and heard on television exchanging insults as the San Siro was empty due to the covid-19 restrictions.

Inter Milan players held back Lukaku who was going to confront the Ac Milan forward as both teams head to the dressing room at the half-time interval.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who had given Milan a first-half lead, was given his marching orders after picking up a second yellow card in the second half.

While Lukaku equalized from the penalty spot before Christian Eriksen scored the winner in extra time to send Inter through to the semi-final with a 2-1 victory.

It is weird to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku clash as they were teammates in the 2017-18 season at Old Trafford, with the Belgian star having previously mentioned that he learnt from the Sweden legend during that period.

The Coppa Italia match came at a time the two Milan sides are also fighting for the summit of the Serie A table, with AC Milan two points clear of Inter who are in second place at the moment.

I am guessing people would pay to watch both go at it in a UFC or boxing match. LOL.

But on a serious note, this is not a good thing to see during a football match and both players could have handled it better.
