Westbrom vs Tottenham
Hawthorns
1:00pm

Westbromich Albion has the worst goal difference in the league, Harry Kane and Heung Min Son will look to add to that when they meet at lunch on Sunday just before the international break.

Tottenham surged to victory again on Thursday night in the Europa League and are poised to add to the misery of the Baggies who sit right in the drop zone with three draws from seven outings, conceding 16 times in the process.

Tottenham Hotspur labored hard to victory against Brighton, VAR reared heads but the North London side needed the magic of their once upon a time wonder man, Gareth Bale to see off the Seagulls late on, it was a game that epitomized the hallmark of every title winning side, that ugly win when it matters.

Westbrom are in trouble, maybe that’s harsh and premature but they really have to start picking more than a point in games if they want to stay up, they will look at that stalemate against Chelsea where they dropped two points having gone 3-0 up, that result will haunt them for long…

Not like anyone expected them to beat Chelsea, they will take the point but can they scare Tottenham like that? Can they take the game to Jose Mourinho’s men and take advantage of their tiredness having played on Thursday in Europe?

Slaven Bilic isn’t the sort of manager that waxes lyrical or look imposing but he has recorded something special against Jose Mourinho in the past, he needs every inspiration he can get from everywhere but can he stop Spurs?

This without doubt is Tottenham’s game to lose but they have had days like this that didn’t go as planned, they have a gem in midfield, Pierre Emile Hoejbjerg, he is running riot in midfield and he’s staying disciplined through it, he is the X-Factor for this Spurs side as they surge forward.

Verdict: Spurs to win
