Burnley gave good accounts of themselves against Leicester but it just wasn’t enough.

Quite frankly, this might be the season the Clarets go down after some spirited fights in recent seasons.

One major problem is the fact that the squad is thin and they aren’t doing much in the current window.

Should the deadline pass them by without strong additions, they might just be one or two long term injuries away from deep trouble.

Southampton have started with mixed stories, they suffered back to back defeats but they can pick themselves and get something here.

But they will be wary of the fact that Sean Dyches’ men won the last two between these sides.

And in fact, the Saints are winless in the last five! 

That should offer Burnley some courage as they try to register their first points in the new season.

Chris Wood will be the go-to man for Burnley, he is everything for them at the moment while Danny Ings will remain the man to watch out for in the Saints team.

How will they line up? Both sides will go for this so it will be a bit of end to end.
