Liverpool can become only the second club in top-flight history to beat the same team by at least three goals in six successive meetings, after Manchester City did so against Wolverhampton Wanderers between 1902 and 1905 (Source: premierleague.com)

Welcome back to our predictions table and here is a very big congratulation to Liverpool for their amazing unbeaten run.

They won’t do it the Arsenal way but will be remembered for walking miles and jumping hurdles to be champions after decades of heartbreaks.

There’s a difference between “incredible” and “invincible”.

Liverpool players, managers, and fans would know that by now but they can pick up from where they stopped.

Bournemouth is in town, they can begin another record but must be wary of the hangover that such set of defeats bring.

Since losing to Watford, questions have been asked of the Liverpool mental strength.

They might have shown little interest in domestic competitions but they made it so easy for Chelsea to outwit them in the midweek game that saw Liverpool ship twice without scoring.

Making it two games on the bounce without scoring, having gone almost a year, in fact, three days short of a whole year of scoring in every game.

The team fired blank in consecutive games but, there’s no reason for panic right now, the way and manner in which they approach the Cherries would tell the story of how they heal from the Ismaila Sarr experience.

Bournemouth gave a very good account of themselves against Chelsea but will go down if they don’t stop comical defending.

A 2-2 draw against Chelsea will always be heroic but how did they concede from a very strong position?

It’s okay to concede when you’re under siege and enduring waves of attacks but how do you concede from a corner you took? Or from almost scoring at the other end?

History is another thing Bournemouth won’t want to look at, they have won just once in 16 matches against Liverpool in all competitions, make whatever you want of that.

Betting prediction: Liverpool to win
